I've touched base with my contact at Smythstone.
Hermione's mother at least, thank goodness, is entirely safe. For now, at least. I've learned that the requisition request was quite specific: they want male werewolves, and they had to be within a certain age range: 33-37 years in age. Remus, I think it all depends upon your friend's age. Does he fall within that range? I didn't dare ask after him directly by name, nor did I want to push my informant's willingness to give me information too far by asking too many pointed questions about inmates of the camp.
If his age does fall within that range, let me know, and let's see if we can come up with any bright ideas that will help him dodge this particular hex. I'll talk with Dad, and we can consult with Kingsley, Frank, Sirius and the rest by patronus if need be. Or maybe even Macnair or Snape might have ideas.
